Majoros Tokaji Aszú 2008 6 puttonyos „Family selection”

The nose reveals marzipan, walnut, bitter almond, caramel, coffee, and orange oil. On the palate, it offers a full body with an oily structure and elegant, high-quality oxidative notes. Flavors of caramel, walnut, vibrant acidity, and overripe citrus blend harmoniously with secondary aromas and flavors from aging, which have reached a beautiful balance after a long time in the bottle. The alcohol provides a pleasant warmth at the finish. This dense, intricately woven wine boasts an exceptionally long finish with hints of praline, tobacco, and a touch of candied sugar. It can be enjoyed as a dessert on its own, served slightly chilled in a large glass after brief aeration, ideally before your coffee. Traditionally paired with foie gras served in an aszú sauce with sweet vegetables, or as a luxurious companion to Cuban cigars (Cohiba Robusto, Partagas), it serves as a worthy alternative to the finest Cognacs. Recognized as one of Hungary's TOP 100 wines!
